"God's Work, Our Hands As We Keep Christ First"

Worship

Worship is the way we build connections with God, communally and individually. Every weekend, we gather to hear God’s Word and receive Holy Communion, and we celebrate special worship services throughout the year. Worship is never a spectator event, but always involves and engages everyone present. Hundreds of people share specific leadership roles each year as worship assistants and/or through music ministries.

Because worship is so participatory, and because it features the seasons and symbols, rites and rhythms that have been used for centuries, worship is especially engaging for children, who are always welcome in worship. Bring them along, and sit toward the front, where they can see and hear (and know that there’s a professionally staffed nursery for infants through 3-year-olds, in the event they need a break).

When we’re not gathered together in worship, we trust that we are still united as we pray for one another daily, and share the stories of our faith. Devotional materials, Bible studies, faith conversations, and workshops on deepening spirituality all help us to grow in our comfort in and reliance upon God’s constant presence.
